Joe? Is that you? Toni’s brother?
Just an old friend from 9th Street (I know, you lived on 10th).
Your faith journey is of some interest. I haven’t read your blog (I bumped into it after seeing Les Miserabls for the umpteenth time).
Mike:
Yes, it’s me, Al Garrotto, Toni’s brother! Great to hear from you. I hope you’ll take a moment to read my posts. I’m trying to get back on a semi-monthly schedule.
I’ve laid out a lot of my spiritual journey in my book, The Wisdom of Les Miserables: Lessons From the Heart of Jean Valjean (2008).
Also check out my website at http://www.blsinc.com/garrotto.htm. Toni’s website is http://www.simplysicilian.net/. She just published a new Sicilian cookbook.
Are you still living in the Santa Monica area or did life take you off to other more exotic places?
